Moulds for the production of 3D elements
Moulds for the production of 3D elements are an effective solution for either serial or single-unit production of precast reinforced-concrete module elements, saving costs for overall construction.
Moulds for the production of 3D elements (also known as multi-dimensional elements) are made of a solid steel frame, which is firmly connected to the structure of the production hall. The core and bottom of the mould are attached to the steel frame. The outer shell of the mould consists of the faces and sides, which together with the core can be supplemented by additional external vibrators. Moulds for the production of 3D elements are placed the into interiors of precast technology facilities.
The resulting shape of the precast element is formed between the floor, the core and the sides (faces) of the mould. The production of reinforced-concrete elements takes place bottom/ceiling up.
The casting surfaces are fitted with steel sheet metal. The flatness of the casting surfaces is measured with a calibrated steel ruler in both the longitudinal and transverse directions. We guarantee a flatness of 1.5mm/3000 mm. For the resulting surface, no local unevenness is allowed, only a gradual wave.
The floor of the mould is located between the core and the sides (faces) of the mould. The wall thicknesses of the precast element are defined by the width of the mould floor.
The outer walls of 3D reinforced-concrete elements are perpendicular along their entire height (no chamfer).
Moulds for the production of 3D elements are divided into solid cores with chamfers and shrinking cores without chamfers.
➔ The inner walls of 3D elements can be made with or without a bevel.
As a result of concrete curing, volumetric changes – shrinkage – occur due to hydration.
Chamfering of the walls on the inside of the 3D precast element is thus necessary to allow for the demoulding of the produced element and taking it out of the solid core (the solid core has chamfered walls).
