Concrete transport and processing is one of the main processes of reinforced-concrete element production in precast production plants.

Fresh concrete distribution and its subsequent processing in moulds for concrete is performed by concrete buckets or the flying bucket system, possibly in combination with concrete spreaders.

The transport equipment designed by PREFA Technology offers an efficient way of distributing, storing and processing concrete in moulds.
Concrete transport and processing is one of the main processes of reinforced-concrete element production in precast production plants.
Fresh concrete distribution and its subsequent processing in moulds for concrete is performed by concrete buckets or the flying bucket system, possibly in combination with concrete spreaders.
The containers (hoppers) are designed with regard to the consistency of the transported concrete. The design of the container shape and the type of backfill can be adapted to all concrete consistencies, from wet (loose) to very fluid and self-compacting concrete.
The proposed discharge from the concrete container is also designed with regard to the consistency of the transported concrete. Screw and belt conveyors can be used for wet concrete, while segmented caps are used for fluid and self-compacting concrete.
Depending on the type of application, the hoppers can be operated by a hand wheel, lever, electric gearbox or hydraulic system.

Concrete spreaders

Concrete spreaders (also known as concrete distributors) are used for the quick and precise dispensing of concrete when producing slab and wall elements made of reinforced concrete.

Flying buckets

Flying buckets is a system used for the rapid distribution of fresh concrete that helps to utilize the maximum production capacity of precast production plants.

Concrete buckets

Concrete buckets are most commonly used to transport fresh concrete from the mixing centre to the post-processing site.
